'You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah': Adam Sandler's new Netflix film Breaks Rotten Tomatoes record

Acting in many films after 34 years, Adam Sandler finally received the best film from the critics.

Adam Sandler has one of the best-known comedy movies of all time. The actor and his real family’s latest Netflix movie, “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah,” was rated higher on Rotten Tomatoes than any movie in his career.

This teen comedy started airing on Friday, and the site has a 96 percent “novelty” rating. This is just ahead of Hustle in 2022 (93%), The Meyerowitz Story in 2017 (92%) and Uncut Diamonds in 2019 (91%).

However, there’s always the potential for more bad news to change the standings at the Bar Mitzvah later in the week.

Sandler had a small role in the “bat mitzvah”, but he produced the film, which starred their younger daughters Sonny and Sadie, and Sandler played their father.

The Hollywood Reporter received rave reviews, describing the film as “The Nepotism Rampant is a sweet, fun movie for kids that enjoys the personal pain the protagonist goes through as he prepares for an important movie.”

Based on Fiona Rosenbloom’s novel YA, the description reads: “Best friends for life, Stella Sy (Sonny Sandler) and Lydia. (Samantha Lorraine) have always dreamed of an epic bar mitzvah, but popular boy Andy Goldfarb (Dylan Hauer) Fenman) and a Hebrew school actor cross their path.

Entertainment stars Idina Menzel, Sarah Sherman, Luis Guzman, and Jackie Sandler. The project is the last of Sandler’s current $250 million Netflix deal.
