Spanish actor Gabriel Guevara, star of the Amazon Prime series “My Fault,” was arrested for alleged sexual assault during the Venice Film Festival, confirming the Venice Film Festival’s report that the girl on Lido Island was not arrested for any reason.
Guevara, 22, came to Lido yesterday with an Instagram post.
It has to win the award during the festival called the “Italian Film Award”, which has nothing to do with the festival itself.
Guevara gained international attention for her alleged sexism in France.
The Venetian newspaper La Nuova Venezia began reporting on the Lido arrests on Saturday.
Guevara’s representative could not be immediately reached for comment.
The Venice court now has to decide on Guevara’s case before Guevara can be extradited.
The actor is currently in custody. The punishment for him is unclear.
The Venice Film Festival made the following statement on Sunday:
“According to the reports on various internet sites about the arrest of Spanish actor Gabriel Guevara in Venice, the Biennale here makes it clear that he is elsewhere.
There is Venice. 80 nothing event or production is related to the Venice International Film Festival.
He will star in the Paramount+ drama “Bosé” followed by Amazon’s “My Fault”. His other credits include the Spanish drama How to Screw It All Up (2022), and You Are Nothing Special.
