Rishab Shetty’s “Kantara” has become one of the hottest movies of 2022. The actor, who also directed and wrote the film, received acclaim from all over India.

After the huge success of “Kantara”, the producers announced the second part of the series, a prequel to the movie.
It is stated that Rishabh Shetty is all set to reprise his role as champion Kerbal and has undergone intense physical training to suit his role.
Rishab Shetty loses 11 kgs for Kantara prequel
The makers of “Kantara” Prequel have left no stone unturned to make this movie special.
While expectations were high, Rishab Shetty reportedly lost a lot of weight to fit into the role of Kambala Champion.
According to a report in Times Now, Rishab will be seen leaner in the prequel episode of “Kantara”.
As a result, the actor was subjected to strict physical training and dietary restrictions and reportedly lost approximately 11 kilos for the role.
Even though “Kantara” has a low budget of around Rs 16 million, the makers are now ready to give a big hit to the audience. A report in the Deccan Chronicle suggests that the budget of the prequel is around Rs 150 million.
“Kantara” brought huge profits to the producers, with the film earning over Rs 320 million worldwide; hence, the makers are confident that Kantara’s prequel will be a bigger success.
In many reports regarding the script of the film, it has been revealed that Rishab Shetty has written the story once again and has written a beautiful and interesting story. The film will be set in the 4th century and feature real-life events and characters.
