Apart from cinema, the late actor also starred in the TV series “Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke”. He played the role of Subala, father of Gandhara and king of Gandhara, in Siddharth Tewary’s Mahabharata.
Rio spoke about the rights of actors in the television industry and called on actors to support each other.
In 2012, he talked about the problems actors faced in the industry when another actor replaced the main role in the series.
In an interview with Telly Chakkar, Rio said, “I don’t belong to any of these groups; I grew up differently and have something important in life.
This is a very bad situation for everyone. Actors have also experienced this situation in the industry. When you see foreign productions, they prepare and send a special episode’s letters.
Only when the entire story is approved the series is broadcast. But here, a special idea enters the channel, and no one knows what the scriptwriters will write in the next episode.
That’s why most of our new programs last longer than two months. Gone are the days when shows lasted one to two years and up to five to ten years.
He was last seen in an episode of the second season of the Prime Video series “Made in Heaven” .
