Shah Rukh Khan starrer “Jawan” is currently ruling the box office.
Released in theaters on September 7, Atlee’s film collected the highest box office in the history of Indian films with Rs 75 million.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Shah Rukh Khan film collected Rs 21 crore at the box office on the ninth day, more than a week after its release.
Taking to X, previously known as Twitter, Manobala wrote, “Jawan enters the elite ₹800 cr club at the WW Box Office. The film has sold 1390142 tickets from tracked shows alone in India on the 11th day. ||#ShahRukhKhan| #Nayanthara| #Jawan| #Atlee| #Jawan2|| Hindi shows – 13317, gross – ₹ 35.18 cr, per show collection – ₹ 26,417.”
He also added, “Telugu-Shows – 682, Gross – ₹ 0.85 cr, Per Show Collection – ₹ 12,463. Tamil Shows – 461, Gross – ₹ 0.81 cr, Per Show Collection – ₹ 17,570, Total – ₹ 36.84 cr. National Multiplex Chains–PVR – 2,22,026 – ₹ 10.11 cr, INOX – 1,78,793 – ₹ 7.66 cr, Cinepolis – 82,909 – ₹ 3.85 cr.”
This brings “Jawan’s” take-home income to Rs. India Rs 410.88 Crore. Jawan has already ranked third in the Hindi ad charts this year.
SRK’s “Pathaan” was at the top, grossing Rs 543.05 billion after its release in January.
In second place is Sunny Deol-starrer “Gadar 2”, which is still showing in theaters and has grossed Rs 517.06 million. Billions of rupees.
His film collection so far is a historical mystery as Pathan left it behind in his home collection.
According to Bollywood Hungama, “Pathan” earned Rs 364.15 crore after its nine-day theatrical run; this is Rs 37.73 crore less than Jawan earned in the same period.
The second weekend of “Jawan”will be closely watched as its domestic collection looks set to cross the 500-crore mark in that period.
According to Red Chillies Entertainment, “Jawan”has collected a total of Rs 735 crore at the worldwide box office within nine days of its release and at this rate, the film will easily cross Rs 1,000 crore in its third week of release.
At the successful reunion of “Jawan”, Shah Rukh Khan spoke about the film and called it “emotional”.
“A lot is said about “Jawan” but for us, “Jawan” is a feeling that every Indian has. Jawan is an emotion.
