Following the success of its first season in early 2023, the popular series will once again feature A-list stars competing for charity. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season:
Premiere date of ‘Celebrity Jeopardy! Season 2’:
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 8 pm ET/PT, as Celebrity Jeopardy! Season 2 returns to ABC. The official announcement was made on the show’s Twitter account, @CelebrityJeopardyX.
New host of ‘Celebrity Jeopardy! Season 2‘
And Mayim Bialik did a great job hosting the first season of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” However, fans can expect to see legend Ken Jennings at the helm this time.
Bialik’s absence comes as she supports ongoing protests by the Writers Guild of America Screen Actors Guild and the SAG-AFTRA union.
Celebrities will compete on “Celebrity Jeopardy! Season 2”. Among the elite, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Mark Duplass, and Emily Hampshire are confirmed to participate in the opening duel.
Format of ‘Celebrity Jeopardy! Season 2‘
Fans of the series can expect the same kind of love as the previous season. Contestants will respond to the instructions in the form of questions to collect the most money/points throughout both the Jeopardy and Double Jeopardy rounds.
In the Jeopardy finale, each contestant will bid their own money for the question. The contestant with the highest score from both games will be declared the winner.
Each episode lasts one hour and consists of two tours in total. The highest overall score advances to the next round.
There will be three quarter-finals in the season in which nine contestants will compete.
