Leah Williamson, an England and Arsenal player, disclosed that she experienced a wardrobe mishap when she received her OBE from Prince William. Reluctantly, the Arsenal defender disclosed what transpired during their encounter with Prince William at Windsor Castle.
Leah Williamson’s Injury
The first New Year’s Honours list, which King Charles announced in December of last year, included Williamson. She was required to wait more than eight months to receive the honor, though. Since bursting her anterior cruciate knee ligament while playing for Arsenal in April, the 26-year-old has been receiving rehabilitation. Williamson, who has not yet recovered to full fitness, was present at the Emirates to watch her club defeat Aston Villa in the WSL on Sunday by scoring two goals in stoppage time.

Aware of the wardrobe mishap when Williamson picked up her OBE, BBC anchor Scott wanted Williamson to spill the beans. Williamson clarified that she had managed to conceal the fact that she had split her pants. Nobody was aware that she wasn’t at her best when she got her OBE.
