Hindi Movie 'Ganapath' Review, Audience Response and Box-Office Collections

On October 20, 2023, on the occasion of Durga Puja, the Hindi film “Ganapath”, starring Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and Amitabh Bachchan, was released in theatres around India.

The action, drama, and romance genre of the 2023 Indian Hindi-language film “Ganapath,” written and directed by Vikas Bahl, has captivated audiences with its tale of a legendary figure who sets out on a mission to take down a dangerous criminal who has the city terrified.

Hit or flop?

The film is produced with Jackky Bhagnani, Vashu Bhagnani, and Deepshikha Deshmukh.
The film features many incredible action sequences, sharp dialogue, and outstanding acting from Tiger and Amitabh Bachchan.

It’s reportedly a 200-crore film budget. Tiger and Kriri put up an intense action scene with their power packs. The film delivers mind-blowing sequences that will have you on the edge of your seat, taking action to a new level.

‘Ganapath’ is an endless supply of excitement, from bone-crushing punches to gravity-defying kicks and heart-stopping tricks.

Tiger Shroff has surpassed himself with action scenes that are larger than life. Setting the fever skyrocketing, Kriti Sanon dazzles on film in her most gorgeous avatar to date. It’s a visual extravaganza that will captivate you from beginning to end—it’s not just action.

Box-office collections

Arriving at the box office on opening day, the film had a poor performance and made ₹ 2.5 crore net. The movie is not at all a hit, and the review is not what one may have anticipated based on the trailers or Ganapath. What is shocking is how awful the picture is, with hardly any positive aspects during its over two-and-a-half-hour duration.

Tiger Shroff’s movies mostly revolve around these two strengths of his. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that the “plot” of “Ganapath” consists of a series of set pieces with everyone else waiting for their turn.

It is shocking how awful this movie is, considering that it lasts for almost two and a half hours and has hardly any redeeming qualities. Our eyes glaze over from this constant rinse-and-repeat, and the Fighting-Dancing Tiger, with his chest shining and bronzed, works hard in the ring and on the dance floor.

The movie has been distributed globally in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
