Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, alongside her husband, actor Ben Affleck, have reportedly sold their Bel-Air residence in Los Angeles for just under $34 million, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The 8-acre estate, complete with a private lake and sandy beach, was originally listed for $42.5 million in February.
Jennifer Lopez herself has not commented on the sale.
The buyer’s agent, Lea Porter of Beverly Hills Estates, declined to identify the clients, but noted they are from out of state.
Records show that JLo originally bought the property for $28 million in 2016 from actress Sela Ward and her husband, businessman Howard Sherman.
The gated community boasts a sprawling 14,000-square-foot residence with nine bedrooms and a French country-influenced design.
The house has a home cinema, a bar and a wood-paneled library.
Beyond the lake, the estate includes a guest cottage, swimming pool, putting green and fire pit pagoda. The area also includes an outdoor amphitheater with a capacity of 100 seats.
Hollywood power couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot in July 2022.
In May, they acquired a 5-acre site in Wallingford Estates, a gated community located in the Beverly Hills post office area of Los Angeles, for approximately $61 million. Records show Affleck sold his Pacific Palisades home for $28.5 million the previous year.
Lopez, who recently starred in Netflix’s “The Mother” and announced her studio album “This is Me…Now,” made the sale in a real estate market that has experienced a slowdown due to factors such as higher interest rates, economic conditions and urban castle tax.
However, it’s worth noting that the property located near the Playboy Mansion fetched $34 million earlier this month, and the Bird Streets home is currently listed for $78 million.
