How Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and more are calling on Biden to end Gaza conflict

Selena Gomez signs open letter to President Biden amid Gaza crisis

Selena Gomez has reportedly joined a group of artists to write an open letter to US President Joe Biden amid the ongoing Gaza crisis. From Bella Hadid to Gigi Hadid and Jennifer Lopez to Zayn Mallik, several have urged Biden to call for a cease-fire in Gaza, according to the latest report. Oxfam America and ActionAid USA reportedly support the initiative.

The open letter read: “Dear President Biden, We gather as artists and advocates, but most of all as human beings witnessing the devastating loss of life and unfolding horrors in Israel and Palestine.

We ask that, as President of the United States, you and the US Congress call for an immediate de-escalation and ceasefire in Gaza and Israel before another life is lost. More than 5,000 people have been killed in the last week and a half – a number that everyone knows is catastrophic. We believe that all life is sacred, regardless of faith or ethnicity, and we condemn the killing of Palestinian and Israeli civilians.
