BLACKPINK’s Lisa faces new criticism from netizens. A much-discussed appearance at Crazy Horse Paris, which is basically a cabaret known for its nude stage shows, has sparked a new controversy. According to reports, the CEO of BVLGARI has deleted photos of himself and Lisa. Luxury brands including CELINE and BVLGARI accounts in China have hidden or deleted all of Lisa’s posts. This may be due to Chinese sentiments towards Lisa. The K-pop idol is facing massive backlash for his performance and the Chinese market has raked in over 21%. it was recently reported that Lisa’s Weibo account was terminated as a result of the performance. Several prominent Chinese celebrities are also said to be facing consequences for attending the show.
Lisa also shared pictures from her Crazy Horse performance on social media. In the photos, Lisa shows her sultry side in her underwear. Although all her outfits are far from the strip show that some fans originally feared. Her post drew disappointment from her fans in her decision to share such photos with accusations that she should pursue a career in stripping. Some have even questioned her status within K-Pop, comparing her to a showgirl. However, international fans supported her and expressed positive feelings about her performance.
