During the pitch inspection, Sanjay Manjrekar and Aaron Flich said, “The side boundaries are 64 meters on both sides, and the straight boundary is 73 meters. The pitch today appears to be an absolute gem. It’s as hard as a rock. The surface has a few cracks, but the wicket has a nice shine.

“As a batter, you can’t help but start drooling when you see that. We’ve witnessed some massive scores here. You can afford to start your innings slowly”
