The vocalist of “Love Story” had a serious wardrobe malfunction on the last night of the Eras Tour in Rio de Janeiro.
What Happened?
Any other performer would have had to end the show to change their shoes, but Taylor carried on with her performance and once again won over millions of fans. On social media, many compared the moment to Margot Robbie’s from her most recent hit movie, Barbie.
The BBMA legend proceeded to perform on her perched tip-toes, drawing comparisons between herself and a Barbie doll from fans on X (now Twitter).
In addition, admirers of Barbie-Taylor’s rendition have been sharing the video of the singer performing with a broken heel on social media, which has made it trend.
It’s interesting to note that following the performance, a concertgoer claimed on social media to have seen Taylor break her heel. A dazzling broken heel can be seen inside a black and white checkered bag in a picture that has the other Swifties jealous.
Despite her shattered heel, the 33-year-old gracefully handled the mishap, spinning around to keep the audience entertained. The “Style” singer looked hot on stage wearing a shimmering bodysuit with tassels and glittering knee-high Christian Louboutin boots.
Two of Taylor’s admirers passed away in the last week, adding another set of challenges to her tour in Brazil. During her most recent show, the singer gave an emotional homage to both of them.
