The match that was supposed to start at 7:00 p.m. India time, started at 9:00 p.m. after the umpires did an inspection.
Each player can bowl a maximum of three overs.
The Indian squad made three changes to the squad that played UAE. Harbhajan, Pawan Negi and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were replaced by Ashwin, Nehra and Jadeja.
Bangladehs skipper said after the toss: “This is the XI most Bangladeshi fans wanted to see. Nasir brings all-round aspect to the line up.
“Can bowl, can hit and is a great fielder. And I’m glad they didn’t pick a “spinner” or a darter, vs this Indian
line up. One over of those darts could ruin all the work!”
