‘Salaar’ plot
The plot is set in the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar. The story follows the friendship between Deva (Prabhas), a tribesman, and Vardha (Prithviraj), the prince of Khansaar.
The film begins with a flashback to Deva’s childhood. He is a member of the Shouryaanga tribe, considered the lowest caste in Khansaar. Deva is a skilled warrior and is known for his loyalty and courage.
Vardha is the son of the king of Khansaar. He is a kind and just ruler, but enemies also surround him. His father’s ministers and relatives are plotting to overthrow him and take control of the kingdom.
When the coup d’état is finally launched, Vardha is forced to flee the palace. He seeks refuge with Deva and his tribe. Deva agrees to help Vardha retake the throne, and the two friends set out on a journey to build an army.
Along the way, Deva and Vardha face many challenges. They are attacked by bandits, they are betrayed by their allies, and they are forced to make difficult choices. But through it all, their friendship remains strong.
In the end, Deva and Vardha succeed in defeating their enemies and restoring Vardha to the throne. Deva is called “Salaar,” which means “commander.” He becomes the leader of Vardha’s army and helps to protect the kingdom from future threats.
The film ends with a cliffhanger, as Deva is confronted by a mysterious figure who claims to be his father. The identity of this figure is left unresolved, setting the stage for a sequel.
