Abhishek Kumar had to exit ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house on Thursday night. The “Udaariyaan” actor has been in the spotlight after his massive fights with Samarth Jurel in the last few days, and another one ensued during the episode aired on January 3. After he supposedly got physical with Samarth, Bigg Boss asked Captain Ankita Lokhande to decide Abhishek’s stay in the house.
A source close to the show shared with India Today that Abhishek and Samarth had been constantly at loggerheads for the last few days. While Abhishek had almost slapped him a couple of days back, no action was taken against him then. As they got into another fight recently, he charged at Samarth Jurel again and hit him.
Abhisek Kumar ousted from ‘BIG BOSS 17’
Bigg Boss then summoned Ankita Lokhande and asked her whether Abhishek should be allowed in the game after his physical fights. The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor cited the elimination of Tehelka aka Sunny Arya on same grounds and agreed that Abhishek should also leave the show. Even other housemates felt the decision was fair given Abhishek broke one of the biggest house rules on the show.
“Abhishek was distraught by the decision given the finale is in just three weeks. He reasoned how he had been poked by Samarth for many days and that’s why he reacted. He also seemed furious at Samarth and Isha Malviya for pushing him out of the show,” the indiatoday added.
Fans on social media, however, have been speculating how Abhishek Kumar could be brought back to the show by host Salman Khan during the Weekend Ka Vaar.

Abhishek Kumar and Isha Malviya worked together on the TV show “Udaariyaan” and fell in love. After dating for a while, the two parted ways, only to meet again at the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ premiere. As they were set to enter the show together, the two opened about their breakup in front of host Salman Khan.
While Isha accused him of domestic violence, Abhishek shared how she would meet other boys and often put him down. Once inside the house, the two tried to be civil with each other but their past often made things complex between them.
Later, Isha’s present boyfriend Samarth Jurel made an entry into the show and seeing them together, Abhishek was heartbroken. Time and again, he’s gotten into a war of words with Samarth and over the last few days, those have only intensified.
Samarth and Isha were recently seen making fun of Abhishek’s mental health issues, which did not go down well with many fans. Even celebs like Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Bijlani, Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary tweeted about being disgusted by how he was treated on the show.
With Abhishek Kumar’s exit, Bigg Boss 17 now has Isha Malviya, Samarth Jurel, Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Ayesha Khan, Aoora and Arun Mashettey in competition.
