The grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, was not just a religious event, but a magnificent showcase of culture.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of numerous celebrities from the Indian film industry. These stars brought an element of charm and devotion to this momentous occasion, their participation reflecting the deep-rooted significance of Lord Ram in Indian traditions.
Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary actor, along with his wife Jaya Bachchan, were among the first celebrities to arrive in Ayodhya. Bachchan, known for his commanding voice and recitations of devotional verses, added his melodious touch by reciting a specially composed poem praising Lord Ram.
Another icon, South Indian superstar Rajinikanth, made a special appearance that was greeted with thunderous applause from the crowd. This showcased his immense popularity and how the Ram Mandir resonates with people across India.
The younger generation of Bollywood also made their mark at the ceremony. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, one of Bollywood’s most beloved couples, arrived hand-in-hand to seek blessings at this newly consecrated temple.
