Meanwhile, pictures and videos claiming Virat Kohli attended the grand consecration ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple surfaced online.
However, the footage shared on the internet was from Rahul Kanal’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations that Kohli was a part of a few months ago.
On the other hand, a few social media accounts suggested that Kohli had reached Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir inauguration but had to leave because of a personal emergency. However, the same could not be independently verified by Moneycontrol.
The Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony was held on an elaborate scale in Ayodhya on Monday. Over 7,000 diginitaries from all fields attended the historic event. Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble and Ravindra Jadeja were some of the cricketers who were present.
