Ayodhya's Ram Lalla Idol Amazes Internet with 'Blinking Eyes' AI Video

Ayodhya’s Ram Lalla idol blinks eyes, adores devotees in AI-made video, internet in complete awe of the ‘miraculous’ sight.

The grand inauguration day of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir exceeded all expectations, turning into a jubilant celebration that echoed the spirit of Diwali. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi immersed in the sacred ‘Pran Pratishtha’ rituals to the entire nation transforming into a festival ground, adorning homes and streets with vibrant decorations, lighting up the atmosphere with diyas and firecrackers, and reveling in joyous dance to welcome Lord Ram back from his 500-year exile – it was a national fiesta!

Yet, stealing the spotlight was none other than the majestic 51-inch Ram Lalla idol. Drenched in gold and adorned with flowers, this divine ‘Murti’ was unveiled just before the grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ayodhya temple.

But did you happen to witness the enchanting sight of Ram Lalla’s idol ‘blinking their eyes’? Hold on, when did that happen? A video capturing Lord Ram in a seemingly lifelike display, with blinking eyes and expressive facial movements, has surfaced on the internet, leaving the online community not just wide-eyed but utterly spellbound.

While the spectacle appeared magical and authentic, it turns out that the video was crafted using artificial intelligence (AI). For those not in the know, it looked nothing short of what elders might refer to as a ‘Chamatkar’ or miracle.

Reactions

“I was not ready this, my heart skipped a beat. Looks like Ram ji is so emotional,” commented one user. “And our Shree Ram Lalla looking even more innocent and Divine,” expressed another.

Shifting our focus back to the idol, the 51-inch masterpiece, sculpted from black stone by the skilled hands of Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj, had been veiled in anticipation leading up to yesterday’s grand ceremony. The Ram Lalla idol on the ground floor symbolises the youthful Ram, while the yet-to-be-constructed first floor promises to house the idols of Raja Ram, along with Sita, Laxman, and Hanuman.

Meanwhile, previously, a viral photograph of the idol sparked controversy, prompting the chief priest of the temple to demand an investigation into its circulation. According to the priest, the photograph revealed the eyes of the idol.

According to source Timesofindia “The eyes of Lord Ram’s idol cannot be unveiled before the completion of ‘Pran Pratishtha.’ If the eyes are visible, there should be an investigation into who revealed them and how the pictures of the idol went viral on social media,” Chief Priest Satyendra Das asserted.
