Telugu Movie ‘Oopiri’ Review and Box-Office Collections Report

Karthi, the young gun in South Indian Film Industry is now awaiting the release of his new Telugu movie ”Oopiri” which will hit the screens on March 25, 2016.

The film is the remake of French Blockbuster ‘Intouchables’. Akkineni Nagarjuna and Tamannaah Bhatia are doing other prominent roles in the movie. It will have a simultaneous Tamil release in the name ‘Thozha’.

Massive initial collections are predicted for this movie as it has a huge star cast which is capable of drawing the audiences to the theaters.

But things will not be that easy for the flick in Box Office, as it is clashing with big movies like ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and ‘Rocky Handsome’.

‘Oopiri’ will grace in more than 1200 screens all around the world. The trailer of the film was unveiled some days back, and it has received positive responses from all corners. The pre-release hype of the movie is that mammoth, and it will surely reflect in the collections once it reaches the theaters.

‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ is one of the most awaited movies of the year. The film portrays two Superheroes crashing to maintain justice, and these icons have a huge fan following in India as well. As this Hollywood movie too hit the screens on this Friday, it may drive some audiences from the Nagarjuna-Karthi flick.

On the other hand, “Rocky Handsome”, directed by Nishikanth Kamath has none other than Indian action Icon John Abraham in the lead role. The film is expected to be a high voltage action entertainer, and it will feature John in a very stylish avatar. South Indian beauty Shruti Haasan has done the role of lady lead in this movie.
