A group of 12 people allegedly beat Pankaj Narang, a 40-year-old dentist to death at his Delhi’s Vikaspuri residence.

The group included a middle-aged woman and a juvenile, whom the police has already arrested. He was beaten brutally only because he was playing cricket with the children and the ball hit two men who were passing by on a bike.

This incident was reported on Wednesday night when the dentist was playing cricket with his nephew and 8-year old son in space outside his residence, stated the police.

Pankaj’s wife is also a doctor by profession, and they live in a locality named Vikaspuri, in West Delhi. His sister’s family had come home for celebrating Holi.

Narang took the children outside for a small cricket game, soon after India v/s Bangladesh match. The ball hit those two men who were passing by, and this led to a scuffle.cricket ball
