Mahindra Nuvosport Price, Features and Review

The Indian automobile giant, Mahindra and Mahindra launched its latest SUV Nuvosport on April 4, 2016. An extended version of its first SUV- Quanto, the new Mahindra Nuvosport features new style and great features.

It seems to be a major launch in the second quarter of this financial year. It is expected to cost between Rs 6.5 lakh to 8 lakh, ex-showroom in the national capital.

The new upgraded, Nuvosport with its sporty look will enable consumers with a new experience into the wild and the outdoors.

Mahindra, pioneer to enter the sub-4 metre SUV with the seven- seater Quanto was unfortunately hit by the rivals Ford EcoSport. Mahindra, this time, has come up with an upgraded version, Nuvosport to stand in its competitor’s list.

The major difference is the exterior body of the SUV and that too from the front. Nuvosport adorns new headlamps, DRLs, hood scoop and new massive front bumper.

The profile of the SUV looks the same except for the underbody cover, new indicators, and foot-board.The rear remains the same except the tail lamps and bumper.

The seven- seater SUV includes a stylish cabin with new trim options. The highest variant of the SUV will support eight- seater facilities coupled with lumbar support and other features like centre console system, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, dual DIN touchscreen infotainment system and reverse parking camera.

According to the Mahindra, the engineers have made sure the highest standards of safety for Nuvosport. Nuvosport may get dual airbags as an option right from the base variants.

The all new Mahindra Nuvosport will be similar to Quanto regarding power with its 1.5-litre diesel and better efficiency.

Nuvosport, developed and in- house by the Mahindra design team with the research at the Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai is a power packed automobile to hit any terrain even with the worst climate conditions.

The latest launch in the month of January this year, KUV100, Mahindra’s first petrol engine vehicle was priced at Rs 7 lakh. TUV300, launched the previous year was priced under Rs 8 lakh.

With the latest acquisition, will Mahindra and Mahindra be able to compete and pull it off well as oppose to the other SUVs is the test of time..
