Tamil Film ‘Theri’ Review & Box-Office Collections Details

Witness “Theri”, a Tamil language action film this Tamil New Year in the theatres near you! The film releases on 14th April.

“Theri”, directed by Atlee and produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu, features, Vijay, Amy Jackson and Samantha in lead roles.

The star cast also includes Prabhu and Raadhika Sarathkumar. G V Prakash Kumar has composed the scoreplay and cinematography by George C Williams.

“Theri” will also be available for its Telugu audience as “Policeodu”. Vijay, the Kollywood star will be seen playing three different characters in the movie.

Atlee comes with his second release after “Raja Rani” in 2013. The young director was an assistant director to Shankar in many films and his next, “Theri” seems to have a lot of expectations from the audience.

Actor Vijay’s films have left the masses in praise for his versatile roles. “Thuppaki” released in 2012 made a gross profit of Rs 100 crore at the box office.

The 50th film of the music composer G V Prakash Kumar will feature great music with utmost finesse. He has been having hits not just as a music director but also as an actor.

First Day First Show Audience Views:

The audience is keen to experience the romance between Amy Jackson and Vijay who have been paired opposite each other for the first time.

Samantha is also playing the lady love of the actor in the film. It will be interesting to see how Vijay manages Samantha, a great actress from the southern industry known for her natural, subtle character and Amy’s bubbly character.

The audience is expecting a rocking entertainment flick with such a star cast ensemble. Only time will tell, if “Theri” will break all the previous box office records.
