Shinsadong Tiger, also known as, Lee Ho Yang, passed away. TR Entertainment confirmed the news of his demise on February 23, 2024, but the time, venue, and cause of his death are yet to be made official.
An acquaintance found Shinsadong Tiger’s body
According to reports, a close acquaintance of Shinsadong visited his house after being unable to contact him. After reaching his home, the person in question found him dead and reported him to the police.
Shinsadong Tiger was 40 years old at the time of his death. An officer at Gangnam Police Station stated – “It is correct that Shinsadong Tiger was found dead, but we are unable to provide further details, including time and place of death,”.
Shinsadong’s hit numbers in the K-pop industry
Shinsadong Tiger started his journey as a songwriter in 2005. Since then, he produced several hits in the K-pop industry.
Some of his notable tracks are T-ara’s ‘Bo Peep Bo Peep,’ ‘Roly-Poly, ‘Sexy Love, Apink’s NoNoNo’ and Remember,’ EXID’s ‘Up & Down,’ ‘Ah Yeah,’ BEAST’s ‘Shock,’ ‘Breath,’ 4Minute’s ‘Hot Issue,’ ‘Volume Up,’ HyunA’s ‘Bubble Pop’, Trouble Maker’s ‘Trouble Maker, MOMOLAND’s “BBoom BBoom, and many more.
He founded his label in 2011, known as AB Entertainment, and the South Korean sensational girl group Exid debuted under AB Entertainment in 2012.
In 2021, he launched the girl group Tri.be. Tri.be recently made a comeback with ‘Diamond’, but after news of Shinsadong’s demise, the group has halted their public promotional activities for now.
