‘Laapataa Ladies’

The plot is set against the backdrop of 2001 rural India, where two newlywed brides were traveling via train but went astray, wreaking havoc. Kiran Rao directs the film which is high on content, comedy, and heartfelt conversations. The film stars Nitanshi Goel, Sparsh Shrivastava, Pratibha Ranta, and Ravi Kishan.

‘Dange’

The film’s main focus is two friends and their complicated relationship which ensues after their paths bifurcate. The film is set against a lovely college fest as a backdrop and promises to take its viewers on a ride, exploring the delicate intricacies of friendship. The film stars Harshvardhan Rane, Ehan Bhat, T.J. Bhanu, and Nikita Dutta and is directed by Bejoy Nambiar.

‘Accident or Conspiracy: Godhra’

This historical film is based on the Godhra train burning incident and the riots in 2002. It also delves deeper into the reports that were released after the Nanavati Commission inquiry. It features a student whose parents died in the Gujrat riots who received a college assignment on the same topic.

Determined to uncover the details behind the riots, he researches and meets with the commission members to excavate the truth. Written and directed by M.K. Shivaaksh, the film features Ranvir Shorey, Manoj Joshi, Hitu Kanodia, and Rajeev Soorti in lead roles.

‘Kagaaz 2’

Inspired by true events, Kaagaz 2 stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Satish Kaushik and Neena Gupta in lead roles and is directed by V.K. Prakash. The plot revolves around a common man’s right to life that gets diminished by protests and rallies.
