Superstar Rajinikanth arrived at the “Vettaiyan” set in a cop uniform. A video of the actor getting out of the car is now doing the rounds on social media. Superstar Rajinikanth, who was last seen in daughter Aishwarya’s “Lal Salaam”, is presently shooting for director TJ Gnanavel’s upcoming film’s “Vettaiyan”.
On February 27, Thalaivar headed to Hyderabad for the next leg of the film’s shooting. A new video of Rajinikanth arriving in a cop uniform at the film sets is doing the rounds on social media.
His car was surrounded by his fans, who cheered for him as he got out of the car. Rajinikanth, along with his driver, arrived at the film’s shooting spot in Hyderabad. Going by the video, he will be playing a police officer in the film.

According to rumors, “Vettaiyan” is a hard-hitting action entertainer based on a true story. It is said that the actor will play a Muslim police officer in the film. In an earlier interaction, Rajinikanth said that Gnanavel’s “Vettaiyan” is likely to be wrapped up by the end of March. He will then take a break and move on to director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s “Thalaivar 171”.
“Vettaiyan” boasts a huge star cast which includes Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the film will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander
