South Korean film ‘Exhuma’ triumphs box office!

‘Exhuma’ made history in the South Korean film industry in 2024 by maintaining the first spot at the Korean box office for 8 days! Though the film was released on February 22, The Korean Film Council reported that it surpassed 4 million moviegoers on March 1. This made ‘Exhuma’ the first film of the year 2024 to achieve the master stroke!

The plot centers around an affluent family living in Los Angeles who are haunted by maleficent spirits. To get rid of the entity, the family seeks help from two young experts, Hwa Rim and Bong Gil. Hwa Rim and Bong Gil are two shamans who work together to get rid of evil spirits.

They started their investigation on the family and found that they were being haunted by their forefathers. The only way out is to please them.

To please them, they dug out the graves of their ancestors, which led to an increase in negative energy, further complicating the matter. Lee Do-hyun plays the role of Bong Gil, whereas Kim Go-eun takes up the role of Hwa Rim.
