With the onset of a new month, an exciting lineup of K-dramas awaits K-drama lovers. Here is the list of K-dramas that will be released this month!
‘Queen of Tears’
Popular South Korean actors Kim Ji-won and Kim Soo-hyun’s upcoming drama ‘Queen of Tears will be released on March 9. Kim Soo-hyun will star as Baek Hyeon-woo, the director of conglomerate Queen’s Group.
Hyeon-woo belongs to the village of Yongdu-ri who came to the mainland and became successful in his career. He is the pride of his hometown Yongdu-ri and people look up to him. Baek Hyun-Woo is married to Hong Hae-In(played by Kim Ji-won), who is the daughter of the family that owns and operates Queens Group.
Hae-in is famous amongst the employees for his ice-cold personality and is regarded as the arrogant queen of Queen’s Group. The story revolves around the couple’s hardships that they face during their third year of marriage.
‘Midnight photo studio’
The plot revolves around Seo Ki Joo who is a photographer and runs a photo studio. However, his photo booth is only open to ghosts. Ki Joo works at the photo studio and takes pictures of the ghosts.
Ki Joo is bound by a contract to take pictures of the dead, and the contract has been going on in his family for generations.
But, one day he meets a woman named Han Bom who is a passionate lawyer. What will happen when these two meet? The drama will premiere on Hitv on March 11.
‘Chicken Nugget’
This is a comical K-drama that tells the story of a young girl who steps into a machine and gets transformed into a chicken nugget.
What happens next is up to her father and her admirer who plot together to bring her back to life. The series stars Kim Yoo-Jung, Ryu Seung-ryong, Ahn Jae-hong, Jung Ho-yeon and will premiere on Netflix this March 15.
‘Grabbed by the collar’
It is a thriller that tells the story of special reporter Seo Jeong-won and detective Kim Tae-heon on a mission to resolve a murder mystery. The show features Kim Ha Neul, Jeon Woo Jin, Jang Seon Jo, and Jeong Woong In in the main roles. The show will be aired on March 18.
‘Hide’
This is a mystery thriller that centres around a married couple, whose husband disappears abruptly. The wife embarks on a quest to unravel the secret behind the disappearance of her husband. The drama will premiere on March 23.
