Oscars 2024: John Cena appears nude on stage, video goes viral!

The celebrated wrestler and actor John Cena walking around naked at Oscars 2024 was visually shocking for the audience! He appeared with just an envelope to cover his private parts!

John Cena presents the award for the best costume with no clothes on!

During the 96th Academy Awards hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, he reminisced about the 46th Oscars held in 1974 where a streaker ran completely naked, disrupting the award ceremony. The incident turned into a pop culture history.

“At the 46th Academy Awards, 1974, David Niven was in the middle of introducing Elizabeth Taylor when a nude man — a streaker — ran across the stage,” told Jimmy to the crowd.
With a brief pause, Jimmy continued – “Can you imagine if a nude man ran across the stage today? Wouldn’t that be crazy?”

Just then, Cena walked out completely nude. He was meant to run around the stage naked like the streaker did but he got nervous at the last moment and hid behind a stage column begging Jimmy to bail him out. But, Jimmy was adamant and wanted to recreate the iconic moment.

“You’re the worst,” grumbled Jimmy Kimmel before handing over the winner’s name envelope for John to use.

So, Cena had to walk out with just an envelope carrying the name of the Best Costume Oscar winner in front of him for coverage. Cena proceeded to present the Best Costume award.

“Costumes… they are so important. Maybe the most important thing there is,” said Cena mockingly, indicating his lack of one.

Fast forward to when the lights turned on after the announcement of the nominees, Cena was seen clad in a gown, given to him by Jimmy.

The backstage pictures reveal that the actor wore a modesty pouch to cover his important bits!
