Krystyna Pyszkova from the Czech Republic won the coveted Miss World 2024 title at a gala event here on Saturday.
Miss Lebanon Yasmina Zaytoun is the first contestant. Poland’s Carolina Bielawska, reigning Miss World, crowned her successor in the star-studded finale. 22-year-old Sini Shetty represents India, which hosts the event after 28 years.
Mumbai-born Shetty was selected as Miss India World in 2022 but could not enter the top 4 in the competition.

India won the famous names of that time – Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mukesh (1999), Priyanka Chopra Jonas (2000) and Manush Chillar (2017) .71st Miss World contest, attended by contestants from 112 countries of the world, was held at Jio World Convention Center in BKC.
The 12 jury members of the final include filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala; actors Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde; cricketer Harbhajan Singh; journalist Rajat Sharma, social worker Amruta Fadnavis; Vineet Jain, Bennett, Coleman & Co. Limited, Management. Leader; Julia Morley, President and CEO of the Miss World Organization; Jamil Saidi is the Founder and CEO of three former Miss Worlds including Miss World India and Chillar.
The event, which started with the singer’s performance, was hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar and former Miss World Megan Young. Shaan, Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s video message explaining the importance of “beauty with a purpose”, which is the motto of the Miss World beauty contest. Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Sheikh also took to the stage with 13 quick entries for the Miss World contestants. They sang the new song ‘Sakal Ban’.
Ay- Uzun Miss World event includes talent shows, sports competitions and demonstrations as well as challenging competitions; all designed to highlight aspects of the competition so that the contestants become agents of change.
The final was broadcast live exclusively on Sony LIV. in India.
