Two women who kissed in a Russian restaurant were fined more than 500 euros each for encouraging an “unusual relationship”, a Russian court said on Tuesday.
In the video showing criticism of the restaurant in the old southern city of Krasnodar, the couple, aged 24 and 19, exchanged rings and then kissed each other.Russia banned so-called “LGBT propaganda” more than a decade ago and gradually imposed restrictions on public or media coverage of what its authorities call “non-traditional” relationships.
