Aishwarya Rai refuses Milan Luthria film because of Emraan Hashmi

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has recently been in the news for her powerful performance in the movie “Sarbjit,” was rumored to have been approached for Milan Luthria’s next with Ajay Devgn.

The former Miss World is reported to have turned down the offer to be part of the movie ‘Baadshaho.’ Reportedly, the actress was asked to play a royal (Maharani Gayatri Devi inspires the character) she turned down the role.

If rumors are to be believed, then the reason is Emraan Hashmi. The beauty queen rejected the role after she knew that she would be sharing screen space with Emraan Hashmi.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan still holds a grudge against the serial kisser Emraan Hashmi as the actor in one episode of “Koffee with Karan” called the former beauty “plastic.”

Even though it has been two years since Emraan made a sarcastic comment on Aish, her refusal to be part of this movie apparently means that the actor has still not forgiven him.

“Baadshaho,” which is scheduled to open in the theaters on Jan 26, 2017, is based on the 1975 emergency. The movie storyline focuses on a thief and stolen treasure.

Other than Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi in the lead role, the film also has Vidyut Jamwal, Ileana D’cruz, and Esha Gupta. The movie is produced by Bhushan Kumar and is scheduled to start rolling in August.

Both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Milan Luthria have refused to give an official statement.

This year, Aish has been quite successful as she received praises from the Industry and outside for her acting in “Sarbjit.” The actress essayed the role of “Sarbjit” sister who fought for two decades to bring her brother back from Pakistan.
