Anushka Sharma, who has been on a high after her film “Sultan” which hit the right note at the box office, will be seen romancing Arjun Kapoor in the movie “Kaneda.” The upcoming project will be directed by Navdeep Singh, the same man who received accolades for directing NH-10.
The “Dil Dhadakne Do” actress will not only act in the film but will also produce the movie. It will be her third production after “NH 10” and “Phillauri”.
The actress has already finished up the last schedule of her film Phillauri sharing screen space with Diljit Dosanjh. Also, it will also have Suraj Sharma playing a pivotal role in the movie.
The 28-year-old actress will be next seen in “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” which will have Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor in it.
According to insiders, it is believed that the “Gunday” actor has not yet signed on the dotted line and is still going through the script.
But if rumors are to be believed then the actor is quite excited about the project, and hopefully, he will play the lead hero role against the “Sultan” actress.
The title of the movie “Kaneda” has created quite a buzz and is reported that it is inspired by Punjabi pronunciation of the word Canada.
While for Arjun Kapoor, he will be seen in the upcoming movie “Half Girlfriend.“ The “Ki and Ka” actor will be paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor in the film. Other than that, he will also be seen in “Mubarakan” co-starring uncle, Anil Kapoor.
For now, the fans of both the actors will have to wait with bated breath to see this new pairing make a mark in the industry. But going by the buzz that the upcoming project has already created it looks like this will be the new hit jodi in the B-town.
