Starring Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy in lead roles, ‘Do aur Do Pyar’ will hit the theatres on April 19. The movie is directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurata and focuses on a tale of love and infidelity.

‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ teaser shows Vidya Balan in a quirky role

‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ is the first movie of Vidya Balan in 2024. The actress was last seen in Neeyat which was released last year. In the movie, Vidya Balan is cast opposite Pratik Gandhi. The plot delves around marriage and extramarital relationships.

In the trailer, Vidya and Pratik could be seen embroiled in an argument in their kitchen space. Shortly after, the trailer reveals that the couple has been cheating on each other. Vidya engages with Sendhil Ramamurthy whereas Pratik can be seen entangled with Ileana D’Cruz.


However, the couple meanwhile tries to sort things out between themselves. But, matters get out of hand when Ileana becomes pregnant which raises seeds of suspicion in Pratik’s mind regarding the father of the baby. He confronts Ileana regarding the same. According to Hindustan Times “The interpersonal conflict, confusion, self-doubt and frustration among partners in the urban landscape is depicted in the slice-of-life romantic-comedy.”

Ileana makes a comeback after 5 years

Actress Ileana D’Cruz who was last seen in the movie ‘Paagalpanti’ released in 2019 will star in ‘Do aur Do Pyaar.’ This film will mark Pratik’s second released film of 2024 after “Madgaon Express”. Pratik will next be seen in the movie ‘Phule’ directed by Anant Mahadevan where he will play the role of Mahatma Jyotirao Govindrao Phule.


Vidya Balan who played the lead role in the horror comedy movie “Bhul Bhulaiyaa” will return for “Bhul Bhulaiyaa Part 3” starring Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri.
