Mumbai Indians have won the toss and have opted to bat first in the 35th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 being played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, on April 22, 4, 2024. Match start time is 7:30 PM.
This is the 100th match of the IPL for Mumbai Indians, and they want to make it memorable by winning it with a big margin.
Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai skipper, said after winning the toss, “We are going to bat first, looks like a good wicket. It’s a surreal feeling to play the 100th game for the franchise, I started my journey with MI; I’m very grateful.”

Bumrah will be crucial for MI against Buttler (dismissed 2 times at a strike rate of 95.4), Sanju Samson (dismissed 2 times at a strike rate of 98.1), and Shimron Hetmyer (dismissed 3 times at a strike rate of 64.3). He has a good record against these batsmen and can be key to MI’s success.
Mumbai Indians hold a slight edge, having won 15 out of 28 encounters against Rajasthan Royals. RR leads the head-to-head record at Jaipur 5-2, with Mumbai’s last win in May 2012.
