Britney Spears settles illegal conservatorship with her father; alleges mistreatment and abuse!

Pop icon Britney Spears has been under illegal conservatorship by her father, Jamie Spears, since 2007. Conservatorship is a law in the USA where a person incapable of looking after themselves is appointed a guardian who makes decisions on their behalf, especially financial decisions. After 13 years of battle, Britney settled the case legally with no convictions.

Jamie Spears conspires against his daughter.

During 2007, Britney was in the midst of a divorce and custody battle with her former spouse, Kevin Federline, with whom she has two sons named Jayden James and Sean Preston. In February, when Britney drove to Kevin’s home to meet her children, she was barred from seeing them.

In a rage, Spears went to a hair salon and shaved off her hair. Unfortunately, she was being followed by a paparazzi who witnessed everything and continued to harass her rather than give her privacy. Spears then took an umbrella and smashed the paparazzi’s car window. The event soon made its way to the media and became an international scandal. Jamie Spears took advantage of the whole situation and called her mentally unfit.

A SWAT team was sent to Spear’s house to take her children away. Not willing to be estranged from her sons, Spears locked herself up inside the washroom along with her sons. This incident later was portrayed as Britney abusing her children.

Meanwhile, Jamie went to court and approved the conservatorship claim. While she was under conservatorship, Britney’s every move was dictated by her father. In 2020, when Britney’s fans discovered that their favorite idol was put in rehab against her will, they started a movement called ‘Free Britney.’

The movement gained traction and helped Spears to get a lawyer named Matthew Rosengart, who freed her from conservatorship in November 2021.

But, recently, it appeared that Rosengart has made “a settlement between Britney Spears and Jamie Spears.”

Britney said – “My family hurt me.”

Britney uploaded a backside snap of her on Instagram, sharing her trauma and the treatment she received from her family and stated – I was right about nerve damage in my back !!!” I have to get acupuncture every day of my life now !!!”

Britney’s lawyer, Rosengart, said – “As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter.”

Shortly after uploading this post and criticizing her family, Britney deleted her Instagram account.
