While details about the alleged bride have not been made public, social media posts suggest that Munawar is married to a woman named Mehzabeen Coatwala, and she is a makeup aritst.
Munawar Faruqui confirmed his marriage
According to a Times Now report, a source close to Munawar Faruqui confirmed his marriage and said, “Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khass pictures bhi nahi milega apko. (He got married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two).” The source further added, “Only the couple’s near and dear ones were present for the ceremony. It was an extremely close-knit function.”
While reports stated that the wedding took place 10 to 12 days ago, the leaked photos stated that the ceremony took place on Sunday, May 26. According to News18, their team could not confirm this request. Meanwhile, there are still hopes that Munawar’s close friend Hina Khan might have attended the ceremony. The rumor is based on the selfie she recently shared with the song “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai” in the background.
Munawar Faruqui’s health issues
From Munawar’s shocking news, Faruqui got married. On Friday, a Bollywood paparazzi shared a screenshot of Munawar’s friend’s Instagram story, featuring a photo of the comedian lying in a hospital bed. The caption read, “Wishing all the strength to my brother, Munawar. Get well soon.” Munawar’s former Bigg Boss 17 co-contestant, Rinku Dhawan, also commented on the post, writing, “get well soon,” along with a series of red heart and hug emojis.
About Munawar Faruqui’s first wedding
Regarding Munawar’s first marriage, he revealed in an episode of Bigg Boss 17 that it was arranged by his family, but it did not work out. When asked why the marriage failed, Munawar preferred not to go into detail and simply said: “I just don’t want to talk about it.”
