Renukaswamy Murder: Actor Darshan allegedly hit him with a belt until he became unconscious

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his partner Pavithra Gowda were taken into custody by the Bengaluru police on June 11 for the alleged murder of a man named Renukaswamy.

 The victim had reportedly sent obscene text messages to Pavithra Gowda, which led to a tragic turn of events.

According to chilling details from the investigation, Renukaswamy was abducted and taken to a shed in the Kamakshipalya area of Bengaluru. Darshan allegedly beat him with a belt, and when he fell unconscious, his accomplices thrashed him with sticks. Tragically, they threw him against a wall, resulting in fatal injuries.

Multiple bone fractures were found all over his body. After Renukaswamy’s death, his body was dumped in a stormwater drain. The case has shocked many, and the actor has been remanded to six days’ police custody.

The victim’s mother, Rathna Prabha, expressed her anguish, stating that Darshan and Pavithra Gowda could have approached the police if her son had done something wrong. The family demands justice for their loved one’s brutal murder
