Newly sworn-in Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu embarked on a pilgrimage to the revered Sri Venkateswara temple in Tirumala on Thursday, June 13, 2024. Accompanied by his family, including his wife, son Nara Lokesh, daughter-in-law, and other relatives, Naidu spent the night in the temple town.
Early Thursday morning, Chief Minister Naidu performed worship at the sacred hill temple, seeking blessings for his fourth term in office. Speaking to reporters, he expressed his commitment to eliminating corruption and safeguarding ‘Hindu Dharma’ in Tirumala. Naidu pledged to tirelessly work toward a poverty-free society and elevate Andhra Pradesh to the status of the number one state in India.

He also issued a stern warning: crimes and corruption would not be tolerated under his leadership. Accountability and transparency in governance are non-negotiable.
Later today, Naidu is scheduled to return to Amaravati and take charge at the Secretariat. He will sign files related to poll promises, teachers’ recruitment, and enhancements to social pension for beneficiaries.
