‘I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History’ Cast & Plot, Anime Adds 12 Voices

The upcoming anime adaptation of Izumi Ōkido’s “Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naruzo” (also known as “I’ll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History”) has unveiled its second key visual along with the introduction of 12 new cast members. The anime’s production team recently shared this exciting development.

The key visual features are the lead heroine, Alicia Williams, and the deuteragonist, Duke Seeker. The series promises an intriguing premise: a determined young woman aspiring to become the most infamous villainess in history.

With the addition of fresh talent to the cast, fans can anticipate a captivating and memorable anime experience.

Among the new cast members, Rie Takahashi, Manaka Iwami, and Ryota Ohsaka are set to lend their voices to the characters, adding depth and authenticity to the story. As the anime premieres in October.

Plot

The anime follows the journey of a spirited young woman named Alicia Williams. Alicia despises the typical “goody-two-shoes” heroines found in otome games. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she is reincarnated into the world of her favorite otome game as a villainess, according to Crunchyroll.

Determined to make her mark on history, Alicia sets her sights on becoming the most infamous villain ever known. She aims to etch her name into the annals of time through cunning plots and wicked deeds. But there’s a twist: the harder she tries to be evil, the more the handsome prince becomes enamored with her!

As Alicia grapples with her conflicting desires—to be both wicked and beloved—she navigates a world filled with unexpected twists, humor, and historical intrigue. With each misstep, she inadvertently draws the attention of the prince, who begins to appreciate her even more. Will Alicia’s quest for villainy lead her to infamy or an unexpected romance?
