Former actress Shalini, married to Tamil film star Ajith Kumar, recently underwent minor surgery at a Chennai hospital.
Shalini shared a photo on her Instagram that shows her wearing a patient’s gown, with Ajith sitting by her side.
The caption reads, “Love you forever ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰💕.” Fans expressed concern and sent “Get well soon” messages, wondering why she had been hospitalized.
Ajith, who was filming abroad for his upcoming movie “Vidaa Muyarchi,” rushed back to Chennai to be with Shalini during her surgery. The actor was spotted at Chennai airport, where he declined selfies with fans, presumably in a hurry to reach the hospital, reported MSN.

“Vidaa Muyarchi,” directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is set for a Diwali 2024 release and features a star-studded cast, including Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and actor Arav. After this project, Ajith will join the sets of “Good Bad Ugly,” directed by Aadhik Ravichandran.
