Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations are in full swing, and the star-studded Mameru ceremony was no exception.

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor and her rumored boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya graced the event with their presence at Antilia, the Ambani residence.

Janhvi Kapoor looked resplendent in an embroidered sleeveless blouse paired with an orange lehenga and matching dupatta. Her traditional attire perfectly complemented the festive occasion. Shikhar Pahariya, too, was elegantly dressed in a blue kurta and white pajama, complete with black shoes.

As they entered Antilia, Janhvi and Shikhar were all smiles, captured in a video shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani. The warmth of their greetings as they met Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, added to the celebratory atmosphere.

The Mameru Ceremony

The Mameru ceremony is a cherished Gujarati pre-wedding tradition. During this ritual, the maternal uncle (mama) of the bride visits her with sweets and gifts. These gifts typically include a Panetar saree, jewelry, ivory or white chura (bangles), and an assortment of sweets and dry fruits beautifully arranged in trousseau trays.

Anant Ambani, the younger son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and philanthropist-businesswoman Nita Ambani, is set to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant on July 12.
