The Indian Hindi-language comedy Bad Newz, starring Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles, will be released on Friday, July 19, 2024.
The ensemble cast also includes Ammy Virk and Neha Dhupia.

Plot:

Inspired by true events, “Bad Newz” is a spiritual sequel to “Good Newwz” (2019). It revolves around a rare medical phenomenon called “heteropaternal superfecundation.”

Love-struck Saloni Bagga becomes pregnant after one-night stands with two different men, Akhil Chadha and Gurbir Pannu. When she learns she’s pregnant with twins fathered by a different man, comic one-upmanship ensues as Akhil and Gurbir vie for her attention.

The film features compositions by Rochak Kohli, Vishal Mishra, Lijo George-DJ Chetas, Prem-Hardeep, Karan Aujla, and Abhijeet Srivastava. Notable singles include “Tauba Tauba,” “Jaanam,” and a remix of the original song “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam” from the 1998 film “Duplicate”.

Box office prediction

After the tremendous box office success of “Animal’, Tripti Dimri will be in the limelight, and people will want to see her more. The box office collections are expected to be decent, around Rs 25 crores in the first weekend.

The latest song from the movie released on Youtube is titled “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam.” It’s a reimagined version of the iconic track from Shah Rukh Khan’s 1998 film “Duplicate.”

The original song featured Sonali Bendre and Juhi Chawla. In this new rendition, Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk engage in a playful competition to win Triptii Dimri’s heart.
