Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, and Ghaziabad are expected to experience moderate to heavy rain in the coming hours. Nearby regions, including Panipat, Bhiwani, Jhajjar, Jind, Hisar, Karnal, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Nuh, Rewari, Alwar, Narnaul, Palwal, Hodal, Hathin, Aligarh, Bulandshahr, and Mathura, may also see showers.

Traffic Disruptions:

Waterlogging caused disruptions on several roads in the Delhi-NCR region. Visuals shared on social media depict waterlogged areas in Rajendra Nagar, RK Puram, Janpath, Karol Bagh, Nauroji Nagar, Pant Marg, and Mayur Vihar. Fatalities:

Three days ago, three IAS aspirants drowned in basement flooding in Rajendra Nagar. Yesterday, a woman and her son drowned in an open drain in East Delhi’s Mayur Vihar Phase 3.

The rainy weather is expected to continue until August 5, with gusty winds (speeds of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour).
