One of the most loved on-screen pair, Ajay Devgn and Tabu are back; this time in a romantic thriller “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha”, directed by Neeraj Pandey. The film has been released in theatres on 2nd August. The supporting cast includes actors like Jimmy Shergill, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Saiee Manjrekar.
Plot
The plot revolves around the love story of Krishna and Vasudha, played by Ajay Devgn and Tabu, respectively. Krishna comes to Mumbai from his village and falls in love with a girl named Vasudha. The story tracks the lives of them both, as the two characters go their separate ways and reunite after 22 years only to realize that they still love each other.

Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar play the roles of young Krishna and young Vasudha in the film. An accident occurs and Krishna ends up in jail, where he constantly goes through flashbacks and thinks about his past. Meanwhile, Vasudha marries a guy named Abhijeet, who is played by Jimmy Shergill. He helps Krishna get out of the jail. The truth regarding the accident is the plot of the film.
At the end of the film, Krishna leaves the country to start a new life, and Vasudha lives with her husband for the rest of her life.
Public Review
The film has received a mixed reaction from the audience. While some love the old-school romance of Ajay Devgn and Tabu, others are criticizing the film for its weak plot and storyline.
Major media houses have given the film a low rating, With Amar Ujala giving it 2/5, India Today and Navbharat Times giving it 1.5/5.
Songs
The music of the film is given by Oscar-winner MM Keeravani. Other singers who have contributed to the film are Maithili Thakur, Amala Chebolu, and Rishabh Chaturvedi among others. Lyrics of the songs have been penned by Manoj Muntashir.
“Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha” is written and directed by Neeraj Goyal. The film is a must-watch for all the old-school, cliche Bollywood lovers.
