Eminem joins a very exclusive club.
Rapper Eminem has just surpassed 50 billion total streams on Spotify, making him and Drake the only rappers to achieve such a milestone. This is a big win for Slim Shady as it proves the rapper’s longevity in the game and the music industry.
The other rappers that follow behind are Kanye West and Travis Scott, who have 47 billion streams.
The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)
Eminem recently released his album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)” which made it to the Number 1 spot on the Billboard charts. The biggest song from the album, “Houdini” currently sits on more than 300 million streams on Spotify. The song was released along with a music video before the album dropped. “Houdini” pays tribute to his past work, notably the 2002 song “Without Me,” with a music video that shows Slim Shady walking out of a portal and being transported to present times.

The Death of Slim Shady is Rap God’s 12th studio album, according to Spotify stats, and it has more than 700 million streams. This is his first LP in four years.
Drake’s numbers
Rapper Drake has always been on top of the streaming charts. He hasn’t released any new music lately since his beef with Kendrick Lamar has been floating.
The “God’s Plan” singer currently has 101 billion streams on Spotify and is the number-one artist on the Spotify charts.
His beef with Kendrick Lamar has been a matter of gossip worldwide. With allegations of paedophilia and sex trafficking against him, the rapper has garnered bad PR worldwide. The diss track against him, “Not Like Us” by Kendrick, has more than 100 million streams, according to Billboard.
