The Uttar Pradesh Police busted a rave party after raiding a flat at a high-rise society in Noida Sector-94. Thirty-nine university students among minors were detained from the party.
According to NDTV, the incident was reported to the local police after liquor bottles were thrown from the 19th floor of the Supernova building. Residents alerted the police about loud music and suspected use of drugs. According to residents of the society, the students also misbehaved with them when they were confronted. Over 24 students were found partying in the flat during the raid. Students are reportedly from Amity and Manipal University. Clips from the busted party have been circulating online.
According to the police, a large number of Haryana-labelled alcohol bottles and hookahs, among other things, were recovered from the flat.
The Hindustan Times reported that the party invitations were sent to the students through WhatsApp. The entry fee for the event was Rs. 500 for women, Rs. 800 for couples, and Rs. 1000 for stag males.
“House party that is going to be a total blast. Join us at our crib at 6 pm, and let’s make some memories that’ll last,” the invite message reportedly read.
