Tensions between Mega fans and Allu Arjun’s fans have escalated. The feud began when Bunny campaigned for YCP’s Silpa Ravi in Nandhyal while JSP was gearing up for an intense election battle.
Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s remarks about sandalwood smugglers being portrayed as cinema heroes further fueled the fire. He indirectly referenced Allu Arjun’s role as a smuggler in the blockbuster film “Pushpa: The Rise.”
However, Allu Arjun’s father-in-law, Chandrasekhar Reddy, has now entered the fray, urging Kalyan to reconsider his comments.
“It wasn’t right of Pawan Kalyan Garu to make such comments. Allu Arjun acted as a sandalwood smuggler; he didn’t engage in real-life smuggling. Had Allu Arjun been involved in actual smuggling, Pawan’s comments would have held weight. But that’s not the case. Kalyan Garu should clarify that his ‘smuggling’ comment wasn’t his intention. Otherwise, it won’t bode well for him, especially given his government administrative position.”
On the other hand, Allu Arjun recently declared at a film event, “I will be there for my people no matter what.” This statement appears to be an extension of the Nandhyal episode, indicating that this see-saw game of words may continue for some time.
