Videos circulating on social media show hundreds of individuals forcibly entering the mall shortly after it opened its doors at 3:00 PM. The scenes of chaos included people grabbing merchandise, shoving items into bags, and even filming themselves during the act. Despite desperate attempts by the staff to manage the crowd, the situation quickly spiraled out of control.
Eyewitnesses reported that the police were notably absent from the scene, leaving the mall staff and security helpless against the mob. The aftermath of the rampage revealed a scene of utter devastation, with clothes scattered across the floor and shattered glass littering the premises.
The incident has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many expressing shock and disappointment at the crowd’s lack of civic responsibility. “What else can you expect from a country where lawlessness is the norm?” one user commented.
