Finnish mobile manufacturer, Nokia launched the Nokia Lumia 1320, which is being launched also being called an affordable phablet. The company has already launched three new Asha phones – Asha 500, Asha 502 and Asha 503.
The company stated that Lumia 1320, which features a 6-inch IPS LCD display will be available in colour variants such as Black, White, Orange and Yellow.
The phablet iS expected to cost arounD $339 and will start shipping in the first quarter of 2014. It will be available first in China and Vietnam, followed Asian markets including India and Europe.
Nokia Lumia 1320 boasts of Nokia’s ClearBlack technology with 720×1280 pixels display and a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash.
It is powered by a 1.7GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 64GB using microSD card.
Nokia is also offering free SkyDrive cloud storage of 7GB. The phone runs on Windows Phone 8 and features third Live Tile in Start menu.
Executive Vice President at Nokia, Stephen Elop said that Nokia is partnering with developers to introduce app experiences unique to Lumia and Windows Phone. He added that they are enjoying volume growth in Q3 2013, with Lumia and Asha smartphones.
